- Years 2006-2015 In this new mini guide dedicated to all of you who own a Peugeot 207, we will discover the steps you need to take in order to correctly replace the leather cover on the lower part of the gear lever. First of all, get into the car and make sure it is turned off and the handbrake is engaged. Then, pull the gear knob upwards to remove it completely and then detach the leather cover. At this point, insert the new cover correctly and, finally, reassemble the entire gear knob.

The steering sensor is located just below the steering column. To release it you need to have a small screwdriver and insert it into the hole on the front, push the screwdriver all the way down until the clips at the bottom are released. Next, pull down on the back of the card containing the sensor and disengage it from the steering column.
