When the trunk of the Peugeot 407 is locked, the causes could be multiple, from connectors to the lock passing through the fuse of the central locking system. But how can you access the inside of the trunk if it is locked? Luckily, there is an emergency button. All you have to do is fold down the rear seats and insert a star screwdriver into the hole on the lock to push the opening tab to the right and finally push to open the trunk. Once opened, you can remove the tailgate panel to check the internal wires.
