In this dramatic video, we can see the test of this driver trying to climb a heavily snowy hill with his Peugeot 3008, using all-season tires marked M+S (mud+snow) without the 3PMSF (3 Peaks mountain+ snowflake) symbol. It is actually the latter that indicates a true winter tire. If the youtuber had not had the assistance of the "reinforced mode" that helped him climb the steep snowy hill, the tires alone would not have been able to do it; in fact, even on a flatter road, the situation did not improve and without the assistance of the car's traction, the tires did not help him. Therefore, all-season tires are not suitable for this type of situation; they are fine for the city, or for light snowfall, but when the problem is really serious, like in this case, nothing replaces a true winter tire.
