How to remove the rear wheel of a Ciao Piaggio

Model: Piaggio Ciao
Part: Wheel

Video tutorial

In this video we can see how to remove the rear wheel of a Piaggio Ciao: we start by removing the body, first on the left and then on the right. Using a screwdriver and a 17 key, we remove the front pulley, and following the same pattern but with a 13 key, we remove the rear one. With an 11 key we remove the brake.

With a 17 key we can now remove the wheel bolts, but we still need to remove the chain from the other side. Once this is done, the wheel is free and we can remove it. A suggestion for putting the belt back in place: When we reassemble the pulleys, we just rest the belt on the rear one, while we properly reposition the front one, fixing it. Then, we rotate the rear wheel backwards and the belt positions itself.

How to Replace the Piston on a Derbi GPR 125

To replace the piston on a Derbi GPR 125, loosen the bolts securing the cylinder head to its housing, allowing it to be removed along with the valve cover. This will enable you to access the bolts securing the cylinder at the top of the engine, allowing for its complete removal and revealing the underlying piston. The piston can now be freed from its securing bolts, enabling you to position the new piston onto the corresponding conrod. After installation, refit the engine components.
