In this video, we first see what the Roll block is: it is a mechanical lock that prevents scooters from leaning when they are stationary, and it is a safety system exclusive to three-wheeled scooters, such as the Piaggio MP3. It is activated by pressing a button on the handlebars: a mechanical pin inserts itself between the two front wheels, locking the suspension system, avoiding the need to put our feet on the ground when stopped at a traffic light or in parking. The classic problem is that the Roll block no longer unlocks, preventing us from starting. The video shows us an emergency trick: we put the scooter on the center stand, remove the front fairings, disconnect the electrical connector that powers the motor, apply 12 volts directly to the pin of the connector using a booster: by supplying power directly, the motor activates and mechanically unlocks the system. After this operation, which requires a certain technical skill, the system usually starts working again.
