Let's see how to resolve the electro/mechanical block on the roll block of the Piaggio MP3 (which the YouTuber calls "hold up"); it has become stuck after a period of inactivity of 15 days. This is a classic fault, due to moisture oxidising the internal parts of the electric motor, a fault in the motor itself, or a mechanical blockage at the worm screw.

To manually unlock the system without dismantling the front fairing, locate the roll block on the right side: it is a small black cap, which we will remove. Insert a screwdriver into the hole; this will engage the worm screw of the mechanism.

Turn the screwdriver. In the video example, it worked by turning to the right, but it may be necessary to turn to the left in other cases.

Now try to start the scooter, checking that the roll block unlocks and locks normally.
