Today’s guide will show you how to perform routine maintenance by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Piaggio MP3 300 scooter. First, place the scooter on the centre stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located underneath, allowing the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filter cartridge, removing it and replacing it with a new one, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the filler cap and top up with new engine oil, checking the correct oil level afterwards.

How to Check the Coolant Level in a Yamaha Xmax

In the following video, you will learn how to check the coolant level in a 2008 Yamaha Xmax. First, position the motorcycle on a stable surface by raising the stand. Next, lift the cover located at the top of the motorcycle to access the coolant drain bolt. To top up the coolant, unscrew the cap as shown in the video and add the fluid until it reaches the maximum level, indicated as Max. Once finished, close the valve and refit the cover.
