Using the special ignition key, open the glove compartment. Unscrew the screw that holds the battery cover in place and remove it. Now unscrew the screw that holds the battery retainer in place, then lever slightly under the retainer to extract it and, consequently, the battery. Unscrew and then disconnect the connectors (negative first, as always) and remove it completely. Insert the new battery and obviously proceed backwards until complete reassembly, connecting the connectors and screwing the fastening lock, finally mount the cover.

Change the Ducati Hypermotard engine oil and oil filter

Below we will see the main steps that will allow us to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and oil filter of the Ducati Hypermotard motorcycle. First of all we put the stand on our motorbike and we begin to unscrew the vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain in a container for about ten minutes; then we go and unscrew the oil filter cartridge, screwing the new one by hand and then gently tighten it, as shown in the video. Finally, unscrew the filler cap and top up again!
