To easily change the battery on a Vespa Primavera 150, lift the mat on the footboard. You will find a plastic cover in the central tunnel secured with four screws. Unscrew it, then remove the two screws that secure the battery to the bodywork. Disconnect the negative terminal (the black one) first, then the positive (the red one). Remove the battery. At this point, you have two options: replace it (costing between £30.00 and £45.00 on major e-commerce platforms) or recharge it as our YouTuber did (a tool that can cost between £24.00 and £52.00). Connect it to the two terminals and recharge the battery. This is certainly a more practical and eco-friendly solution that should be considered. After recharging, simply place it back: reposition it in its compartment, reconnect the terminals (always the negative first), replace the securing clip, then the cover, and finally reposition the mat. Job done.
