How to disassemble the engine of the Piaggio Vespa GTS 250 - 300

Let's see today in this guide, how to remove the engine block from the bodywork of the Piaggio Vespa GTS 250, but also of the GTS 300. First of all, we put our scooter on the central stand and start disassembling and removing the muffler silencer, by unscrewing the screws; then we unscrew the central bolt of the rim, removing the whole wheel, as shown in the video. At this point we disconnect the suspension from the engine block, disconnecting the fuel supply lines and the various wiring; then remove the engine block, applying the reverse procedure for reassembly!

Change the Ducati Hypermotard engine oil and oil filter

Below we will see the main steps that will allow us to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and oil filter of the Ducati Hypermotard motorcycle. First of all we put the stand on our motorbike and we begin to unscrew the vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain in a container for about ten minutes; then we go and unscrew the oil filter cartridge, screwing the new one by hand and then gently tighten it, as shown in the video. Finally, unscrew the filler cap and top up again!
