First of all, make sure that the engine is cool enough, then place a container underneath it. Locate the drain plug near the exhaust pipe and, using a socket wrench, unscrew it. Then, remove the small filter, clean it from any dirt residue, and let the oil drain from the system. At this point, all that's left is to unscrew the main filter, tighten the replacement along with the drain plug, and pour the new oil through the appropriate hole.

How to restore the oil light on the T Max 530

In this video, we are shown the procedure to reset the oil light on the Yamaha T Max 530 as it does not turn off automatically after changing the oil. The procedure is quick and requires little time to be completed. To reset it, you need to: start the instrument panel, once the panel is started press the menu button, use the selection buttons to scroll to the maintenance item, select it by pressing the menu button, use the selection buttons to select the oil item, press the ok button to confirm, once the kilometers are selected press the up selection button to reset it. Once the light is reset, you can restart the instrument panel to verify that the procedure was successful.
