To change the engine oil of the Piaggio Vespa LX 125, you need to unscrew the drain plug of the oil sump, which is located at the central lower part of the scooter. Once this plug is loosened, all the used oil can flow into a suitably positioned container. When it has fully drained, you can remove the oil filter located on the left side of the scooter, near the beginning of the swingarm. After replacing the filter, you can top up by pouring oil through the breather on the right side of the scooter.
