How to Replace the Front Turn Signal Bulb on a RAM 1500 [USA]

Open the hood, and locate the headlight that needs the bulb replaced. To remove the headlight, use a socket wrench to unscrew the nut located on the side of the headlight near the trim at the bottom. Also, with a ratchet wrench, unscrew the nut at the top corner of the headlight, also near the trim. Additionally, on the front of the fender above the headlight, there is a small access panel that must be opened by removing a retaining clip. Once this panel is open, reach inside to locate a plastic tab that needs to be lifted. At this point, you can pull the headlight out by disengaging it from the mounting pin on the side of the headlight. On the back of the headlight, there is a round cap, and towards the outside of the assembly, locate the turn signal bulb. To disconnect the power connector, lift the red clip, then pull the connector upward and rotate the bulb. Take the new bulb (ensure it is the correct type) and install it onto the socket. Screw the bulb back in and reconnect the connector. Now, reposition the assembly by first inserting the pin on the outer side into its slot and then ensuring the white plastic tab is lifted. Finally, reattach the two screws.
