How to Replace the Third Brake Light on a Dodge Ram

To change the bulb of the third brake light on a Dodge Ram, start by removing the 4 screws that hold the light panel in place. Lift the panel from the bottom and then remove it completely. Disconnect the connector, then remove the bulb holder by turning it slightly counterclockwise and pulling it out. Next, take out the bulb by simply pulling it. Get the new bulb, remove it from the packaging, and insert it into the bulb holder by pushing it in. Place the bulb holder with the bulb back into its housing, turning it slightly clockwise. Reconnect the connector and reposition the panel by screwing the screws back in.
