Replacing the third brake light bulb on a RAM 1500 is a quick task you can do yourself. Remove the two screws on the housing and proceed with disassembly.

Disconnect the connector and remove the burnt-out bulb. Insert the new bulb and reassemble the housing.

Connect the connector and secure the housing by tightening the two screws. Test the bulb by turning on the vehicle's lights.

You can purchase the bulb with the same voltage online from auto parts websites or at local auto parts stores; the cost is around $10.00.
