How to change the oil in the Renault Scenic II

Model: Renault Scenic MK 2, Scenic 2 - Years 2003-2009

In this video we can see how to change the oil and filter on the Renault Scenic II dDI; we open the hood, open the oil filler cap, lift the front of the car to access the drain plug, after removing the plastic protection. We drain the used oil into a suitable container, which we will then dispose of at an authorized center. We access the filter from above, and when we remove it, we should point it upwards to avoid oil dripping onto the engine. We put the new filter in place, lubricating the gasket with new oil, and screwing it in place. We replace the plug and gasket under the car, and put the plastic cover back on. We lower the car and start refilling the oil with 90% of the necessary quantity, then we measure the level; adjust accordingly. We close the cap, start the engine and keep it running for 30 seconds, to allow the filter to fill up and measure the oil level again. The optimal level is close to the maximum, but be careful not to exceed it.
