How to Change the Crankshaft Pulley

The function of the crankshaft pulley is to guide the belt and absorb the resonance generated by the vehicle's engine. The crankshaft pulley is secured to the engine with a bolt that needs to be unscrewed.

Before removing the bolt, turn on the air compressor and wait for it to recharge. Remove the crankshaft pulley by securing the arms with the provided screws, tightening them well.

Finally, clean the hub of the old pulley from rust before installing the new pulley, which should be secured by tightening the bolt at the centre of the crankshaft.
