Today we will explain how to replace the gear knob of a 2013 Renault Clio. To replace the knob, we first need to remove the metal plate with the gear shift pattern on it; after removing the plate, we lift the boot to remove the locking clip. After removing the clip, using a wrench we remove the knob and insert the new one into the gear mechanism. We lock the clip and mount the gear boot. The knob we will use for the replacement can be purchased second-hand on a resale website or at an auto parts store.
