Replacing Tailgate Gas Struts on Renault Twingo

Today, you will see a really, really simple operation: replacing the gas struts that allow the tailgate to open by supporting its weight. As an example, we will show you a Renault Twingo 1, but the hydraulic struts are all very similar, and the replacement is easy for each of them. Open the tailgate and place a hydraulic support stand underneath to prevent it from falling when you remove the struts. To do this, simply lift the upper clips with a flat screwdriver, as shown in the video, and pull them out of their seat. In the same way, detach them from the lower attachment.
