Renault Clio - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005
Part: License plate light
Operation: License plate light replacement instructions

The license plate light is located right in the center of the bumper and replacing it is really very simple; given its position, however, it is not certain that the bulb is burnt out, it could in fact also be due to oxidation of the contacts. Therefore, use a small screwdriver to extract the lamp holder and, keeping the lights on, try to move the connector: if the lamp turns on then it is certain that the problem is in the contacts of the power socket; turn off the lights, unplug the socket and clean it with contact spray; reconnect everything, turn on the lights and check that even if the connector is pressed, the light bulb does not go out.
