Instructions for Replacing the Diesel Filter

The diesel filter of the vehicle in question is of the traditional type but completely plastic rather than metal; before removing the old filter, it is advisable to empty it through the appropriate drain valve: disconnect a pipe so that air can enter and facilitate the emptying; then disconnect the other pipes, pull the filter upwards from its seat, and insert the new one as if sliding a drawer into its place; reconnect the pipes and fill the filter using the appropriate manual pump, ensuring that the filter fills correctly.
