How to remove the valves from the cylinder head of a Renault Megane 1.6 gasoline engine

In this video we can get an idea of how to disassemble the valves from a cylinder head of a Renault Megane 1.6 petrol engine. It is however a delicate operation: make sure the cylinder head is clean, and it would be a good idea to number the valves in relation to their cylinder and their position (intake or exhaust), to simplify reassembly (It is necessary to have a spring compressor, which can be found on Amazon with code B08FDLG8FN at a price of 27.07 euros, free delivery for Prime customers) Position the spring compressor on the valve to be disassembled, lower the upper plate, uncovering the tapered stops that lock the valve; then with long-nose pliers remove the two small tapered stops. Be careful not to drop them because they are very small. Now slowly release the spring compressor; the valve should now be free. If we also want to replace the oil seal, now is the time to do it, but be careful not to damage the valve guide.
