Valve Stem Seal Replacement

Model: Renault Megane Megane III, Megane 3 - Years 2008-2015

This tutorial shows how to correctly change the valve stem seals on a Renault Megane. Using a ratchet spanner, remove the protective cover from the valve. At this point, remove the spark plug. Using a socket wrench, detach the spring that acts as a compressor on the valves. With a pair of thin pliers, unscrew the pins located on the valve stem. Remove both the valve and the seal to replace them with those from a new kit. Clean the stem with a cloth and lubricate it with clean engine oil. Now position the new seal, followed by the valve, the spring, and insert the pins, tightening them gently.
