Renault Megane - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Megane Megane 1 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Engine
Operation: Head fixing pins replacement

If a repair has been made to the engine that required disassembly of the cylinder head, then it is absolutely essential to use a new set of pins for the assembly of the cylinder; then check the pitch of the pins with the thread counter and select the appropriate male to re-pass the threads of the head fixing holes in the crankcase, taking care not to let chip residues end up in the cylinders; then fit the new gasket and the overhauled cylinder head, apply copper grease to the bottom of the thread and immediately under the head of the new pins, fasten them in their respective holes and tighten them according to the crossed type scheme using both the graduated and dynamometric wrench.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
