What is the ECO mode of the Renault Kangoo and how can it be deactivated?

The function of the ECO mode is to optimize fuel consumption by controlling the engine power, heating, air conditioning, and defrosting. This function is installed in all Renault Kangoos produced from 2010 to present, allowing for a more controlled, agile, and economical driving experience. To activate or deactivate the ECO function, simply press the ECO button located on the central dashboard, near the hazard light button. You can tell if the function is on or off by looking at the instrument panel, which will indicate it through the ECO light. To temporarily deactivate the ECO mode while driving, press the accelerator pedal firmly.
