How to Remove the Accelerator Pedal from a Mercedes A-Class W169

In this video, you can see how to remove the accelerator pedal from a Mercedes A-Class W169: you need a T20 Torx socket wrench for the pedal screws, a flathead screwdriver for the plastic clips, and long-nose pliers for the electrical connectors. First, disconnect the battery, turn the steering wheel fully to the left for better access, remove the 3 Torx screws that secure the cover under the steering wheel, and detach the plastic clips with a flathead screwdriver. Under the accelerator pedal, there are 2 electrical connectors, one large and one smaller, that must be disconnected; for the smaller one, you will need to use the pliers. Then, unscrew the two T20 bolts that secure the pedal bracket and slide it out to free it from its position. Pay attention to the orientation of the pedal before removal so that you can reinstall it the same way.
