To replace the brake pedal switch on a Mercedes A-Class, access the back of the pedal. You will need to remove the plastic panel located directly under the dashboard to reach the components at the back. Here, just above the pedal lever, you will find the switch: disconnect it from its housing by simply pulling it out and replacing it with a new part. After the new switch is installed, reinstall the plastic cover.
