How to disassemble the central console of a Mercedes A-Class AMG

In this video we can see how to disassemble the central console of a Mercedes A-Class AMG: we start by prying with a plastic spatula on the chrome trim located on the rear edge of the console. This will reveal two cross screws that we will remove; this will allow us to take off the entire central part of the console, where the gear shift, radio, and climate control are located, which we can remove more easily on the workbench. We will need to disconnect all the connectors located behind, then from the console we will disassemble the infotainment screen and the electronic gear shift, which is located just below, by unscrewing the four screws. At the top, there are the air vents, and we will remove the air conditioning controls by snapping out the clips. Now we remove the CD player and finally take out the air vents by snapping the metal clips on the sides.
