To replace the water pump on a Mercedes A-Class 45 AMG, access the left side of the engine block. First, free the timing belt from the water pump pulley.

This will allow you to completely remove the pump by unscrewing the bolts and disconnecting all the hoses attached to it. Once the pump is fully released, you can remove it entirely and install the new one, ensuring everything functions properly.
