How to Remove the Water Pump from a Mercedes A-Class

Before starting, open the hood of your Mercedes A-Class. First, loosen the tensioner for the serpentine belt, then remove the belt itself. Next, unscrew and remove the bolts that secure the water pump to the engine block. This will free the water pump. At this point, extract the water pump from its housing. Once you complete this step, you can finally remove the water pump, and the disassembly will be finished.
