How to Replace the Light Switch on a Mercedes A-Class?

To replace the light switch on a Mercedes A-Class, use a tool to pry off the panel surrounding the switch, which is located to the left of the steering column. Once the panel is removed, push the switch inward to release it from its housing. Disconnect the connector at the back before fully removing it. After removal, insert the new switch and install the appropriate plastic cover.
