This guide shows how to disassemble the light switch on a Mercedes Benz A-Class W177. The operation is very simple and does not require special tools. First, rotate the selector to the "P" position, which is for the parking lights; at this point, press the selector all the way down, and while holding it, turn the switch to the position for the parking lights. Now you can pull the selector block out from the dashboard to disassemble it. To install the new selector, simply insert it into position and rotate the selector to the "P" position and then to the "Auto" position.
