How do you deactivate the immobilizer of the Renault Kangoo?

In order to deactivate the immobilizer of the Renault Kangoo, you need to remove the specific control unit that regulates its operation: this can be found inside the dashboard, accessible only by removing the steering column trim panels. Once these panels have been removed, you can loosen the screws that secure the control unit, removing it completely. You will now need to connect it to a computer in order to reprogram it to deactivate the immobilizer. At this point, you can reinstall it, making sure that everything is functioning correctly.
