How to Replace Front Shock Absorbers
Model: Renault Fluence
MK 1
- Years 2009-2019
Place the car on a ramp or lift it with a jack to a comfortable height for working. Remove the front wheel. Detach the clip holding the brake cable in place by unscrewing the bolt with the appropriate spanner. Now unscrew the bolts that secure the shock absorber (one at the top and two at the bottom). Lift the wheel with a hydraulic jack to relieve tension from the shock absorber. Open the bonnet. Now remove the two wipers by unscrewing the pivot bolt after removing its cover. Unscrew the two bolts on the sides that secure the plastic cover of the engine compartment. Remove the cover starting from the sides, taking off the seals and finally removing the long central part. Remove an additional cover by unscrewing the bolts that secure it. Now unscrew the three bolts that secure the shock absorber at the top and extract it from its position. Compress the shock absorber with a special machine and unscrew the bolt that secures the spring. Replace the spring with the new one and position it, then reassemble the shock absorber as shown in the images. Refit the bolt that secures the spring and reinsert it into its position. For reassembly, perform the same operations in reverse order. The replacement operation was performed on a Renault Fluence.

How to Remove the Factory Radio on a Mercedes A-Class
How do you remove the factory radio on a Mercedes A-Class? Let's carefully go through the disassembly process. Use the original or aftermarket metal keys to remove the car stereo: Insert the keys into the holes on the plastic trim of the stereo, pull the stereo towards you as shown in the video, and carefully extract the radio while being mindful of the various wiring (disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable). Finally, reinstall the original radio or a generic brand with the appropriate adapter for the input and connector. by ScegliAuto More videos
