Replacing Front Shock Absorbers

Model: Renault Clio Clio 3, MK 3, Clio III - Years 2005-2013
Part: Shocks

To replace the front shock absorbers, it is essential to have the appropriate clamps to compress the spring and separate it from the damper. Start by lifting the vehicle to remove the front wheel, disconnect the grommet for the cable, and remove the relevant bracket. Then unscrew the two fixing bolts of the shock absorber from the hub support and access the engine bay to complete the disassembly by unscrewing the nut securing the rod to the corresponding support. Apply the clamps to compress the spring and remove the support from the rod. Fit the dust cover, spring, and support onto the new damper and proceed in reverse for installation back onto the vehicle.
