How do the automatic lights of the Renault Captur MK2 work?

In this video we can see how the automatic lights work on the Renault Captur MK2. With the lights set to "auto" during the day, only the position lights turn on, not the low beams; under a bridge, the low beams turn on automatically; by activating the high beams, we see that they are also activated automatically; in fact, we see that when the road is well lit, they turn off automatically to turn back on when the road is completely dark. When we encounter a car coming in the opposite direction, the car automatically lowers the high beams; this only if the white icon appears, by pushing the lever forward. If the car detects a sufficient light source but we still want to turn on the high beams, we must quickly rotate the manual wheel forward and push the lever forward to enter manual mode. To activate the rear fog light, remember that the low beams must be on.
