In the case of the vehicle in question, the front shock absorber also includes the hub support: to dismantle it, you must lift the vehicle, remove the front wheel, the brake caliper, the brake disc, and the driveshaft; then proceed to dismantle the suspension ball joints (use a forked chisel to extract them) and then the mounting bolts of the shock absorber to the vehicle chassis (also known as the 'DUOMO': the stabiliser bar is also called the duomi bar as it is installed at these specific points of the chassis) and remove it complete with the spring.

How to Remove the Spark Plugs on a Subaru Forester

In this video, learn how to remove the spark plugs on a Subaru Forester. Pull the lever to open the engine compartment and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Remove the soundproofing panel covering the cylinder head, the air filter kit (if necessary), then disconnect the coils by hand, unscrew the spark plugs with your socket wrench, and pull them out of the cylinder head. Take the new spark plugs and guide them with the extension of the socket wrench into the cylinder head, tighten them properly, secure the ignition coils, refit the previously removed panel and the air filter kit. Close the engine bonnet.
