Today, we will explain how to install the spare wheel carrier on the Fiat Ducato van. To perform this operation, you need to lift the vehicle on a jack or stands to access the underside. The van should already have a rod with 8 holes of 8 mm, into which the carrier will be inserted.

Position the first bracket of the carrier and tighten the nut using an 8 mm spanner; then insert the carrier after the first bracket and secure it by tightening the nuts. The carrier, known as a winch, has wires that need to be positioned on the right and left sides by mounting support brackets.

Test the operation of the spare wheel carrier by inserting the hex key into the left hole; if the carrier works, you will see the winch lower. Insert the spare wheel into a protective capsule and mount the central lock inside the wheel.

Using the hex key, secure the wheel to the carrier.
