How do you remove the third brake light on a Saab? Let's look at how to detach the light located in the tailgate of the car. Lift the tailgate, then locate the screws securing the third brake light. Unscrew the screws behind the light unit.

Once the light is free from any constraints, you can detach it from inside the tailgate (disconnect the relevant power connectors). Fit the new light: connect the power connector, insert the light into the tailgate (after fitting the bulbs), and screw in the securing pins.

Test the operation of the bulbs and the entire light unit.
