To dismantle the dashboard of the Saab 9-5, loosen the screws that secure the radio in the centre of the dashboard: once the screws are loosened, you can extract the device from its housing, disconnecting the connectors inside. Once the connectors are removed, proceed to remove the ashtray: after removing all components from the central panel, you can completely remove the trim that surrounds it and also encompasses the instrument cluster.

The latter can now be removed by loosening the screws previously covered by the trim and disconnecting the connectors on the inside.
