To replace the wiper motor on a Samsung SM5, open the hood to loosen the clips securing the plastic panel at the base of the windshield. Once this panel is freed, remove it completely to access the wiper mechanism: the wiper blades and their respective arms must be removed by loosening the mounting bolts. After the wiper blades are removed, extract the mechanism and replace it with a new one; all disassembled parts can then be reinstalled.
