Learn how to change the cabin air filter on a Seat Leon 1: the filter is located in the engine bay, at the base of the windscreen, specifically on the left side of the vehicle when viewed from the front, directly in front of the passenger (for left-hand drive vehicles). Unscrew the two flange screws using a star screwdriver, then remove the rubber seal located under the bonnet and lift the cover towards you, using small oscillating movements to remove it. Remove the cover and detach the two support tabs at the base of the filter. Extract the old filter and carefully clean the container of dust and debris, insert the new filter respecting the direction of the arrows, replace the cover, reposition the lid, put the seal back in place, and close the bonnet.
