In this video tutorial we will see how to remove and replace the timing belt on a Seat Leon 1.6 TDI, but also on the other models of the Volkswagen group with the same engine (Audi A3, Volkswagen Golf, Skoda Octavia). First we open and lift the engine hood; then we are going to remove all the cables and pipes above the distribution side cover, disconnecting the clamps; also disconnect the fuel filter hoses and remove it. Once the supports and the timing cover have been removed, we are going to remove the lower pulley, lifting the car and accessing it from the mudguard.
