Model: Seat Leon
MK 3, 5F
- Years 2012-2019 In this guide we see the necessary instructions on how to disassemble and replace the timing belt of the Seat Leon 1.6 TDI; the manufacturer states in the use and maintenance booklet that the timing belt, on this type of engine, must be replaced around 210,000 kilometers or 6 years (it is advisable, however, to carry out a visual check of the belt before this mileage). To replace the timing belt it is necessary to remove the V-belt and the front wheel; then remove the crankshaft pulley and dismantle the timing cover; let's unscrew the tensioner screws to remove and replace the timing belt, following the video tutorial to the end!
