In order to disassemble the engine of the Sherco 290, you need to loosen the screws that fix the engine block to its housing, so that it is possible to then disconnect the various tubes and connectors: at this point it will be possible to proceed by removing the engine block from its seat. Then you will need to unscrew the screws that fix the cylinder to the top of the engine block: this way it will be possible to detach the piston from the connecting rod and the connecting rod from the crankshaft. The additional components inside the engine compartment can be replaced by ensuring that everything works correctly.
