Model: Sherco Se R 250
To replace the piston of the Sherco SE 250, loosen the bolts securing the cylinder at the top of the engine block. You will also need to disconnect the connectors attached to the engine block to remove the cylinder. Once the cylinder is removed, you can access the underlying piston, which must be detached from the connecting rod by removing the retaining ring. After this has been removed, insert the new replacement part and then reinstall the cylinder.
