To replace the steering on the Sherco SM 50 R, first grip the grips located at the ends of the steering and pull them outward to remove them from their housing. Once the old grips are removed, unscrew the central bolts securing the steering to the front fork, then disconnect the cables connected to the brake and clutch levers. At this point, the steering can be completely removed and replaced with a new spare part. Secure it with its bolts, reconnect the brake and clutch cables, and insert the grips.
