How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Škoda Octavia?

On the instrument panel of the Škoda Octavia, the Service light can be reset by holding down the button located in the center of the instrument panel while the panel is off. Continuing to hold it down, you can insert the ignition key and turn it to turn on the instrument panel. Once the panel is on, you must continue to hold down the 0.0/SET button for a few seconds until the light is completely reset. This way, the Service light will disappear from the panel permanently and you can turn it off by turning the key.
