How to Reset the Service Light on a Škoda Octavia

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 2, 1Z - Years 2004-2012

On a Škoda Octavia, reset the Service light by holding down the button located in the centre of the dashboard, just below the central display. Hold it down while the ignition is off; then, insert the ignition key and turn it to switch on the dashboard. After a few seconds, you will notice that the maintenance interval resets and the Service light disappears from the dashboard. You can then turn off and on the dashboard to verify the operation was successful.
