How to Reset the Service Light on a Škoda Octavia?

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 2, 1Z - Years 2004-2012

To reset the Service light on a Škoda Octavia, press and hold the button located in the centre of the instrument cluster, just below the central display. While holding it, ensure the instrument cluster is off. Then, insert the ignition key and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster. After a few seconds, you will notice that the maintenance interval has been reset and the Service light has disappeared from the instrument cluster; you can verify the reset by turning the instrument cluster off and on again.
